TRENDZ AI is a global news headline dashboard. It queries GDELT DOC 2.0, a public index of worldwide reporting, on page load and refreshes about once a minute. GDELT coverage is broad but not exhaustive, and indexing may be delayed. Each headline links to the original publisher.

The briefing displays real publisher headlines returned by GDELT. GDELT is an index, not the publisher or reporter. Headlines can be incomplete, duplicated, delayed, or later corrected; open the original report for context and updates.
TRENDZ AI does not currently generate summaries, verify claims, or provide independent reporting. The site shows headlines and metadata supplied by an index; it does not reproduce full article text. The “AI” name is branding and does not mean stories or summaries were generated by AI.
Credits travel with the image.
The four photographs in the “On the ground” gallery are illustrative stock images, not images of live articles. They are credited beside each image and link to their original Unsplash pages. The photos use the Unsplash License.
The video shelf features “Earth from Space in 4K — Expedition 65 Edition” from NASA Johnson and “Earth at Night” from NASA Goddard. They are editorial features, separate from news articles. Each player loads when you press Play.
Live headline cards link to original publisher reporting. Article images are publisher-supplied social images when available; display rights and availability remain subject to each publisher’s terms. Remove images if reuse is not permitted.
What this site connects to.
There is no account, newsletter form, analytics tracker, or news backend on this static site. Searching and filtering happen in your browser. Your light/dark theme choice is saved in local browser storage. The browser contacts GDELT on load and about once per minute to retrieve current headlines.
The page loads fonts from Google Fonts and photographs from Unsplash. Publisher images load from their respective hosts when available. The video preview thumbnail loads from YouTube; the player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain only after you press Play. Those services may receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address and browser details.

Headlines are supplied by third-party publishers and indexed by GDELT. TRENDZ AI is not a publisher of the underlying reporting. Read and cite the original source; check for updates and corrections. Image and video rights remain with their respective creators and providers.
